Magento Releases

With Magento 2.3 released on 28th November and time running out for Magento V1 it time to look at upgrading.

In June 2020 Magento will no longer support the Enterprise Edition V1. Magento V2 is a completely new strain of the software in which there is no patch update available to upgrade from Magento 1. The platform must be migrated and rebuilt.

It’s a reminder to all merchants that V1 will no longer receive any improvements or development as all resources are being ploughed into V2. Now is the time to get ahead of the pack. Doing so will not only give your customers a better shopping experience now but will also take the stress and panic away from you when the cut off date looms.

Read our case study on how we migrated one client for v1.9 to v2.2 here.

What version are you on?

Easily determine which Magento version you have by following 2 steps:

  1. Log into your Magento admin backend.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the page in the Magento admin footer. The version number can be found in the centre of the footer.
